Engineer Technology Process Automation

As a Research & Development Automation Project Manager at our company in Navi Mumbai, your role involves managing automation projects in R&D functional areas. You will contribute to designing, implementing, configuring, and testing automation systems, applications, tools, instruments, and device interfacing architectures. Your responsibilities will also include developing project proposals, detailed design specifications, operations & control philosophy, technical recommendations, user and training manuals. Key Responsibilities: - Manage automation projects in R&D functional areas - Design, implement, configure, and test automation systems and applications - Develop project proposals and detailed design specifications - Contribute to validations and certifications during acceptance testing - Coordinate with engineering partners during project designing and execution - Troubleshoot user issues related to data acquisition, tag configuration, historian management, and alert monitoring - Monitor system performance and conduct periodic audits - Review and update SOPs, procedures, and guidelines documentation - Conduct user awareness and training sessions - Ensure compliance with site HSE procedures and Information security requirements Qualification Required: - B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, or Biotechnology from a reputed institute Experience Required: - 6-8 years in laboratory informatics, data engineering, database administration, or application development - 3-4 years of experience in research data science or managing systems and application development in scientific or research organizations Skills & Competencies: - Aptitude in information, communication, and network technology - In-depth knowledge of Laboratory informatics, SQL, and scientific databases - Proficiency in computer science fundamentals and programming languages - Ability to design, construct, test, and maintain data management systems - Experience in developing algorithms, predictive models, and proof of concepts - Strong analytical skills and passion for excellence - Ability to apply innovative ideas in problem-solving - Team player with strong coordination and communication skills In this role, you will play a crucial part in the automation projects within the R&D function, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality results.,
