Position: Engineer / Sr. Engineer (Sales & Estimation)

📍 Location: Chennai and Delhi, India

CTC - 12 LPA

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sales & Estimation professional who can manage sales activities, prepare accurate cost estimates, and support clients with technical and commercial needs. You will study project details, prepare proposals, coordinate with vendors, and help close orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications

- Prepare cost estimates, material take-offs, and labour calculations

- Suggest cost-saving options without compromising quality

- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotes

- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals on time

- Generate leads and build good client relationships

- Follow up on quotations and negotiate to secure orders

- Understand client needs and offer suitable solutions

- Meet sales targets and support business growth

- Work with design, procurement, and project teams

- Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and technical discussions

- Stay updated on market prices and competitor activity

Required Qualifications

Education:

- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

- Master’s in Marketing (optional)

Experience & Skills:

- Minimum 5 years in an MEP contracting company in project sales

- Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation tools

- Ability to read drawings and tender documents

- Self-driven and able to work under pressure

Additional Details

- Occasional travel may be required

- Flexible working hours during deadlines
