Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Instrumentation - Power Plant

Job Profile :-

• 30 MW Thermal power plant

• Erection of Field Panels, Impulse Line, Power Cylinders, Thermocouples, RTDs Pressure Switches.

• Commissioning of open loops, closed loops control schemes measurement loops.

• Correction and Improvement in Drawings Schemes, Cable Schedule and

  Wiring Diagram.

• Commissioning of Pneumatic & Motorized Control Valves,

  Dampers, Annunciation System, Transmitters, Pressure Switches, Temp. Switches and Level Switches Controllers etc.

• Contributed in testing and calibration of C&I instruments as per instruction manual, drawing and schedules and reporting to higher authorities.

• Planning and Supervision of Running as well as Preventive maintenance of C&I field

  Instruments and C&I panels.

• Planning and execution of capital maintenance works of C&I systems.

• Give necessary instruction/direction to field technicians, junior engineers. To check and ensure the assigned field jobs are completed and recorded timely.

• Inventory control of technical spares, execution of purchase orders, arranging transportation of materials from different transport agencies and safe and proper stacking ofspares.

• Erection and commissioning of H.T & L.T. various size and rating of Transformers, Breakers and AC/DC, vvvf Drives (VFD for id, fd, pa Fan).

• Engineering, Erection & Commissioning of

  Control & Instrumentation System.

• Floating of specification/ enquiry for I&C system.

• Evaluation of Techno-commercial Offers for Order Finalization.

• Finalization of Engineering Drawings and various other Datas provided by system Vendors.

• Co-ordination with Vendors/Manufacturers for Material Management.

• Erection & Commissioning of I&C Systems

• Department Representative for ISO-9002 carried out assignments like preparation of Work instruction Manuals, Spares Coding, Equipments Coding, computerized Maintenance Schedule etc. in Accordance with ISO requirement.

• Erection & commissioning with PLCs of L&T, Tata Honey Well and also SCADA SOFTWARES and PLC programming Software plus AC/DC Drives, Weigh Feeders, Process Plant Instrumentation and Boiler Instrumentations.

• Exposures to Power Generation Systems, Parallel Operations of Power sources vide Synchronizing System and power distribution for internal system and export to electricity board as our requirement.

• Instrument Listing and BOQ estimates for pre-contracting and also during post contract engineering activities

• Instrument Hook Diagrams, Identification of Instrument Tapping points on the process piping drawings, Selection of appropriate stubs for the same, BOQ estimates for all the instrument installation (process connection & piping) hardware for pre-contracting and also during post contract engineering activities

• Instrument & Power Cable Selections, Cable philosophy identification, Quantity estimation, cable routing, scheduling, interconnection drawings preparation etc

• DCS system Design engineering, preparation of functional write-ups, logic/ loop diagrams, I/O listing

• Preparation of Purchase Specification, Evaluation of Proposals, Vendor Document Review during post contract activities,

  Support/ Follow up for Installation & Erection, Commissioning Activities for all/ each of the applicable tasks indicated above.

• Selection of contractors for electrical & Instrumentation jobs

Computer Skilled :-

knowledge about computer software like MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Designing, SAP modules.
