Job Description

  • Sales/Marketing of Sponge Iron,Pellet Ore, M.S. Billets, PAN INDIA.

  • Market assessment for fixing prices of Sponge Iron, Pellet Ore, MS Billet

  • Responsible for sellingthe above products directly to the Customers and also through the Agent with the best realization.

  • Meeting with new & existing clients to achieve sales target for the company.

  • Monitoring outstanding payments & control. Finalization of Agents Commission Bill and other activities.

  • Handling Dispatch activities i.e. Dispatch planning as per priority.

  • Settlement of Partys claim if any dispute arises during the dispatch of our above mentioned Products.

  • Quality assurance & client satisfaction by communicating with Production & client.

  • Identifying markets and collecting market reports for developing key entry strategies to penetrate new markets.


  • Attend Pre Bid Meeting & Interact with customer for clarifications required. Prepare Costing Sheet and take approval from management. Prepare Technical Bid & Price Bid required to be submitted. Attend Technical Bid Opening. Attend Price Bid Opening & Negotiation Meeting. Proper Documentation of Tenders won.

  • Attending Customer Complaints at different levels. Experience in field of logistics like in areas identification of potential fleet owners for products of company, freight negotiation, railway logistics arrangements for larger volume, hub and scope model of transportation to have a wider reach in wider area

  • Market Research & identifying new markets for the product.

  • Analyzing latest marketing trends and tracking competitors activities namely and providing valuable inputs for fine tuning sales & marketing strategies. To coordinate with local market team.

  • Identifying markets and collecting market reports for developing key entry strategies to penetrate new markets.

  • Preparing MIS and daily/ weekly/ monthly/ quarterly Reports; presenting the same to the management for facilitating decision making; collating information on market feedback, reseller frequency analysis & related presentations.

  • Identifying scope for enhancing Database Quality & greater operational efficiency.

  • Following up with customer for C Form, Annexure, Payment / Registration & Documentation; forwarding customers complaints to the concern person.

  • Developing new customer on pan India basis.

  • Developing new Agents/Traders on pan India basis.

  • Co-ordination with the production house at regular intervals for replenishments and follow-ups, Shipment planning as well as updating customers on regular intervals.

Quality experience in management and coordination activities including planning, resource administration, set up of processes

IT Skills :-

Well versed with SAP & MS-Excel
