Engineer, Software - ServiceNow

You will play a crucial role as a Software Engineer in designing and delivering core connectivity, IoT, and cloud platform products tailored for B2B and enterprise customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and supporting IoT platform solutions, tools, and APIs - Building and maintaining Microservices and RESTful APIs using modern full-stack frameworks - Developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating builds, testing, and deployments - Collaborating with product managers, architects, and engineers to align on architecture and development goals - Translating technical specifications into clean, testable code and conducting peer code reviews - Contributing to project planning, effort estimation, and risk management - Integrating data from both SQL and NoSQL sources and cloud-native services - Ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and infrastructure standards across all software deliverables - Engaging in Agile ceremonies, DevOps practices, and team retrospectives to drive continuous improvement - Providing production support (Tier 4) as needed and mentoring junior developers on best practices To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field - 2-4 years of experience in software engineering, including full-stack development and cloud-based deployments - Deep experience working with Java, Spring Boot, or similar back-end technologies - Solid understanding of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) - Proficiency in working with Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) - Experience developing and supporting applications in Linux/Unix and/or Windows environments - Demonstrated experience designing and developing in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Strong grasp of DevOps tools and CI/CD processes (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) - Familiarity with IoT platforms and connectivity services is highly desirable - Solid understanding of security across the full stack - from code to infrastructure Additionally, the following skills are a must-have: - ServiceNow application development - JavaScript - Flow Designer - Service Portal - Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs),
