Hiring Engineer / Senior Engineer Purchase for reputed automotive manufacturing industry at Chennai

Exp: 3 to 10 yrs

Roles:

• In charge of all Purchasing and Stores Activities in the Plant
• Ensuring material availability for Production without any stoppage.
• Coordinating with various Plant personnel & Purchasing as appropriate.
• Complying with the statutory requirements related to Inventory Management.
• Will be responsible for Material Availability for Production.
• Will be responsible for Co-ordination between Plant Manufacturing Team, Suppliers and Purchasing Team.
• Will be responsible for Conversion of Purchase Requests to Purchase Orders with Release of Schedules.
• Will be monitoring the Job work related activities also
• Will be responsible for the Store Engineer’s activities and do the required monitoring.
• Will be circulating Daily/Weekly Reports as required by Purchasing Functions.
• Will be responsible for Inventory Management activities.

• Education

Minimum: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Diploma + 2 years can be considered)

• Specialized knowledge – Must.

SAP – MM Module User (PO, Scheduling, Invoicing Price Master, Vendor Master, and Inventory related)
