As an Engineer - Product Safety at Schindler India, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety standards of elevators and escalators post-installation. Your responsibilities include: - Conducting Quality Checks: You examine elevators and escalators post-installation to ensure they meet the set quality standards. - Auditing: You are responsible for conducting timely audits for elevators and escalators that are part of the active portfolio of the branch. To excel in this role, you need to: - Coordinate with the Installation Personnel: Interact and coordinate with the Installation personnel to conduct the SAIS test for certification of elevators, ensuring they meet Schindler Acceptance Inspection Standards. - Collaborate with Maintenance Team: Work closely with the maintenance team to conduct the CPSI test for certification of elevators, which involves standardizing safety inspection requirements and practices for all Schindler elevators after every 5 years of operation. - Report Non-Conformities: Ensure the reporting of all non-conformities found during SAIS and CPSI tests before closing the certification of the elevator.
