As a Engineer-Motorcycle Accessories at Ultraviolette Automotive, you will be responsible for the below.
Design & Development:

Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative motorcycle accessories (e.g., crash guards, panniers, windscreens, luggage systems, handlebar accessories, aux lamps etc.)

Create 3D CAD models, drawings, and BOMs using tools like SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including industrial design, procurement, manufacturing, and quality.

Prototyping:

Work with prototyping teams and vendors to build functional prototypes.

Perform fitment checks and design feasibility assessments on actual motorcycles.

Testing & Validation:

Plan and execute mechanical and environmental testing to ensure product durability, safety, and compliance.

Analyze test data, identify failure modes, and implement design improvements.

Product Validation & Launch Support:

Conduct field trials and user testing to validate functionality and customer satisfaction.

Support tooling development, pilot builds, and production ramp-up phases.

Documentation & Compliance:

Prepare and maintain design documentation, validation reports, and test records.

Ensure all products meet regulatory, quality, and performance standards.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.

2\u20135 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in the motorcycle or automotive sector.

Strong 3D CAD modeling and drafting skills.

Experience with testing standards for mechanical components and materials.

Hands-on approach and familiarity with motorcycles and aftermarket accessories.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and project management abilities.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in FEA, DFMEA, and GD&T.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, metal fabrication, and surface finishing.

Passion for motorcycles and understanding of rider preferences and trends.

Experience working with international teams and suppliers.
