Engineer (Mechanical)

As a Technical Support Specialist for MASSO CNC Controllers, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical assistance to customers through phone, email, and on-site visits. You will play a crucial role in guiding customers through the installation, setup, and configuration of CNC controllers for various machines including Lathe, Plasma, WaterJet, and Milling machines. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues that may arise in CNC controllers. Conducting training sessions for customers and collaborating closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate CNC solutions will be key aspects of your role. It is vital to maintain a deep understanding of G-code programming, CAD/CAM software, and CNC machine operations. Additionally, you will be expected to provide valuable feedback to the product team based on customer experiences, suggestions for improvements, and feature requests. To excel in this position, you should possess 1-2 years of experience in CNC machine operations, CNC controllers, or similar technical support roles. A strong grasp of CNC machining processes, G-code, and M-code is essential, along with familiarity with CNC Lathe, Plasma, WaterJet, and Milling machines. Proficiency in CNC controller installation, wiring, and setup is required, as well as a good command of CAD/CAM software such as Fusion 360, Mastercam, and SolidWorks. Excellent troubleshooting skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills are crucial for interacting with customers and the technical team in Australia, who are native English speakers. A willingness to travel for on-site customer support as needed is also expected. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift and morning shift schedule. Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Punjabi languages is preferred. A 100% willingness to travel is also preferred.
