Graduate Mechanical Engineer

As a Technical Support Engineer for MASSO CNC Controllers, your role involves providing technical assistance to customers through various channels like phone, email, and onsite visits. Your responsibilities will include: - Offering technical support for MASSO CNC Controllers, assisting customers with installation, setup, and configuration for machines like Lathe, Plasma, WaterJet, and Milling machines. - Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in CNC controllers. - Conducting training sessions for customers to enhance their understanding of the product. - Collaborating with the sales team to comprehend customer needs and recommend appropriate CNC solutions. - Maintaining a proficient knowledge of G-code programming, CAD/CAM software, and CNC machine operations. - Providing valuable feedback to the product team regarding customer issues, potential improvements, and feature requests. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - 1 - 2 years of experience in CNC machine operations, CNC controllers, or related technical support roles. - Solid understanding of CNC machining processes, G-code, and M-code. - Familiarity with CNC Lathe, Plasma, WaterJet, and Milling machines. - Experience in CNC controller installation, wiring, and setup. - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software like Fusion 360, Mastercam, SolidWorks, etc. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills to interact efficiently with customers and the technical team in Australia. - Flexibility to travel for on-site customer support as needed.
