Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Instrumentation Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in maintenance and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and excellent technical knowledge of Pharma/API machinery and utility requirements.

Roles and Responsibility

Execute assigned tasks as per planned Instrumentation & Automation maintenance activity to meet maintenance targets.
Manage available resources to achieve shift maintenance plans and ensure efficient equipment operation.
Prepare and submit Instrumentation shift engineer reports for smooth shift handover.
Implement new technologies initiated by Management while adhering to CAPEX and OPEX targets.
Monitor energy use of plants to identify areas for energy conservation and implement Energy Conservation activities.
Conduct training related to cGMP, equipment operation, safety, and housekeeping for workmen.
Optimize resource utilization and maintain good housekeeping and sanitization as per guidelines.
Operate software such as SAP, CipDox, and QMS as required and basis training & certification.
Execute CAPA as guided by the Instrumentation Senior Engineer and prepare/maintain engineering documents wrt cGMP and Good Engineering Practices.
Provide suggestions for process optimization to manufacture quality products and propose/implement new ideas to enhance production, optimize consumable goods, and maximize resource utilization.
Participate in internal audits and idea generation sessions to improve on deficiencies, verify GEP and GMP, and implement action plans for improving observed deficiencies.
Continuously update self on functional and leadership aspects and stay updated on regulatory guidelines and product regulatory requirements for all markets.
Undergo training on Functional & Leadership capability building as per guidance from HR function and the Global Operations Team.

Job Requirements

BE/B Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation engineering.
2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in maintenance and projects.
Possess good technical knowledge of Pharma/API machinery and utility requirements.
Demonstrate knowledge of GMP and various regulatory requirements.
Exhibit good leadership skills and experience in industrial automation.
Ability to implement new techniques, deep understanding of manufacturing processes, planning, and organizational skills is essential.
Strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities are necessary.
Understanding of financial concepts and the ability to manage budgets effectively are required.
Experience in executing green field/brown field projects is expected.
Knowledge of facility maintenance contractors for improving maintenance and quality standards is beneficial.

Statutory bodies can be connected for regulatory compliance.
