Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed production plans and schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Production, Quality, and Logistics to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
  
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production output to ensure alignment with the plan.
  
• Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machinery, materials) to improve productivity and minimize downtime.
  
• Manage material requirement planning (MRP) and inventory control processes.
  
• Address and resolve production planning issues such as delays, material shortages, or capacity constraints.
  
• Analyze production performance and generate reports with key KPIs (e.g., OEE, OTIF, line efficiency).
  
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Kaizen, 5S) to enhance operational efficiency.
  
• Support new product introductions by planning initial production runs and coordinating with relevant departments.
  
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field.
  
• 3 to 5 years of experience in production planning and control in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the automotive, engineering, or industrial goods sector.
  
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
  
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
