Engineer - Fire

The individual will be part of the UK Building Specialists team in India and will be responsible for carrying out detailed design work with the UK team. Your responsibilities will include using computer modeling to predict how fires start and spread, making recommendations about building design and materials to prevent fires from starting and spreading, giving advice on fire safety systems and procedures such as sprinklers and emergency exits, providing support on approval by local authorities, construction professionals, and architects regarding fire safety, keeping up to date with new fire regulations and laws, supporting technical specifications for equipment, buildings, and materials to ensure safety, writing fire strategy reports, technical notes, and technical emails, as well as reviewing drawings and providing markups and annotations as necessary. To excel in this role, you should have knowledge in areas such as Fire Science and Fire Dynamics, Stress/strain of materials, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Risk Assessment and Management, Heat Transfer and Thermofluids, Active Fire Protection Systems, Structural Design for Fire, Heat, Mass, and Momentum Transfer, and Fire Science Laboratory.,
