Key Responsibilities

• Support the

  Type Certification

  process for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in compliance with DGCA/QCI guidelines.
• Interpret and implement requirements under

  Clauses 2, 6, 7, 8, and 9

  of the Type Certification Scheme.
• Work with

  Flight Controllers

  such as K++, Ag++, and VKV9 for setup, calibration, tuning, and integration.
• Operate and configure

  Ground Control Stations (GCS)

  like AeroGCS Green, AGS, and QGCS.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, compliance checklists, and validation reports.
• Collaborate with design, testing, and quality teams to ensure all technical parameters meet regulatory standards.
• Conduct pre-certification testing, data logging, and performance validation for airworthiness and safety.
• Liaise with certification authorities and maintain compliance throughout the type certification lifecycle.
• Stay updated with evolving DGCA regulations, standards, and certification frameworks.

Knowledge and skill required

• Bachelors degree in

  Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.

• Proven experience in

  drone/UAV system integration, testing, or certification.

• Hands-on expertise with flight controllers (e.g., K++, Ag++, VKV9) and GCS platforms (AeroGCS Green, AGS, QGCS).
• Strong understanding of

  Type Certification Scheme Clauses 2, 6, 7, 8, and 9

  (applicability, documentation, airworthiness, performance testing, safety requirements).
• Familiarity with DGCA, QCI, or equivalent certification bodies frameworks.
• Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with autopilot configuration and flight data analysis.
• Exposure to UAV system architecture, payload integration, and communication protocols.
• Knowledge of DGCA / RPAS regulations or equivalent international UAV standards.

Compensation
