Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle for ECU-based automotive products including gear shifters, actuators, and mechatronic modules.

Design and implement embedded firmware in C / Embedded C for real-time automotive applications.

Develop and integrate CAN, CAN-FD, UDS, and transport layer communication stacks.

Implement bootloaders with secure flashing mechanisms using AES-128, RSA-4096, and other cybersecurity protocols.

Conduct fault management, DTC handling, memory management, and diagnostic snapshot handling within ECU applications.

Work closely with hardware, validation, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Drive end-of-line testing, automation frameworks, and system validation using Python, Vector CANoe / CANalyzer.

Ensure software traceability, compliance with automotive standards, and documentation through tools like JIRA, DOORS, SVN / Git.

Support OEM interactions, requirement discussions, technical reviews, and issue resolution.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continual process and performance improvements.
