Energy System Project Management Specialist Professional

Role Overview: As a Project Manager at the company, you will be responsible for leading the execution of medium to large size projects, ensuring compliance with Hitachi Energy policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. You will work closely with customers, engineering, quality, production, and supply chain teams, requiring strong organizational and communication skills to excel both independently and within a team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the project team, define execution guidelines, allocate tasks, and monitor resources to achieve project milestones. - Collaborate with Finance, Quality, Engineering, and Planning departments to develop project plan documents including scope, financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans. - Monitor and control project progress, financials, invoicing status, cost, and cash flow. - Identify, quantify, and manage project risks while capturing and sharing lessons learned throughout the project. - Coordinate with Supply Chain Management for procurement of services, materials, and equipment from suppliers. - Act as a key contact for customers, oversee contract and claims management, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. - Ensure project compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least 10 years of experience in Project Management, Project Engineering, or Customer support. - Experience in executing Power Quality projects or multiple HV Substations in project life cycle. - Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. - Knowledge of Project Management skills such as critical path analysis and risk identification. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to customer expectations. - Self-motivated with negotiation skills and comfortable in a leadership role. - Experience in Power Quality projects and PMP certification would be advantageous. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
