End-use Manager Graphic Arts

As an End-use Manager in the Graphic Arts sector at BYK India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in supporting and expanding the business in printing inks and inkjet inks through technical services. Your responsibilities will include engaging with manufacturers of printing inks and inkjet inks in India and ISC, conducting market mapping, developing new strategies, identifying new trends and technologies, and fostering innovation. You will collaborate closely with the global End-use Manager and team, interact with key accounts and potential customers (with a focus on MSME customers), and provide solutions to their needs. Your key responsibilities will involve generating and executing Technical Service Requests (TSRs) in the BYK Technology Application Centre, acting as a liaison between customers and the center for project execution, providing insights on competition and market intelligence, coordinating with distributor partners to achieve annual operating plan targets, organizing meetings and trainings for agents and customers as required, and upholding ALTANA values of Openness, Trust, Appreciation, and Empowerment to act, along with a strong safety culture. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Graduate or postgraduate degree in Chemistry with a diploma or PG diploma in Paint Technology, or a B Tech or M Tech in Polymer or Paint from a recognized university or institute. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D, with at least 3 years of sales experience being preferred. Being a self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, and possessing problem-solving skills are essential qualities for this position. Strong communication and presentation skills, both individually and as a team player, are crucial. Your ability to understand customer requirements, identify problems, and propose effective solutions will be highly valued. Furthermore, readiness to travel extensively throughout India is required for this role.
