Job Description

About the Role:

Emerging Technology Explorer

Key Responsibilities:

Continuously scan and research emerging technologies, startups, and industry trends across various domains (AI, blockchain, quantum computing, IoT, AR/VR, etc.).
Evaluate the potential business impact, risks, and opportunities of new technologies through in-depth analysis and experimentation.
Conduct proof-of-concept projects and pilot programs to validate technology feasibility and benefits.
Collaborate with business units, IT, and innovation teams to align emerging tech exploration with organizational goals.
Develop and maintain a technology radar or portfolio of emerging solutions.
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technology briefs for leadership and stakeholders.
Participate in innovation workshops, hackathons, and technology forums to foster a culture of exploration.

Preferred Skills:

Advanced degree (Masters or MBA) is a plus.
Familiarity with innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking, Lean Startup, or Agile.
Exposure to technology scouting platforms and tools.
Knowledge of intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks.
Networking within innovation ecosystems, startups, or academic research.
Experience in technology commercialization or product management.
