Job Description

As a highly self-motivated and customer-focused engineer, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, and executing automation projects for customers in the Energies sector, particularly focusing on substation automation solutions. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Specifying, designing, and validating substation automation systems, including customer meetings for design approval - Demonstrating knowledge of the power system value chain and substation switchgear components - Proficiency in communication protocols such as Modbus, IEC 61850, etc. - In-depth understanding of Load Shedding and Generator management System - Experience with Bay Control Unit, Protection IED, RTU & PLC-based products - Competence in communication network design, configuration & commissioning - Hands-on experience with EPAS / EPO Engineering Tool Suite - Understanding customer technical specifications and preparing functional design specifications - International project execution experience and strong communication skills Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science, or Instrumentation Engineering - 8+ years of experience in energy automation project execution, team leadership, and customer management - Strong knowledge and understanding of the industry - Versatile customer experience is a plus - Excellent soft skills and communication abilities - Self-motivated and proactive approach About Our Company: Schneider Electric values Inclusion, Mastery, Purpose, Action, Curiosity, and Teamwork.
