Embedded Testing Engineer

Role Overview

We're seeking an Embedded QA/Firmware Tester to validate end-to-end functionality of our IoT home automation products. The role involves testing firmware, hardware integration, mobile app connectivity, and cloud services to ensure reliable performance across the system.

Key Responsibilities

• Test embedded firmware and validate integration with hardware.
• Perform device-to-app and device-to-cloud sync and OTA validation. • Work with Zigbee, BLE, Wi-Fi, MQTT, HTTP protocols and troubleshooting tools.
• Validate REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, etc.
• Test cloud integration (Azure/AWS IoT Core).
• Automate tests using Python, Shell, or Bash scripts.
• Log and manage issues using bug tracking tools.
• Conduct performance, stress, and reliability testing.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical background (ECE/EEE).

• Strong experience in firmware testing and IoT system validation.

• Good understanding of hardware-software interaction and debugging. • Hands-on with API tools, basic scripting, and connectivity troubleshooting.

• Familiar with OTA updates, mobile companion app testing, and cloud sync.

• Working knowledge of test frameworks, Agile practices, and QA documentation.
