JOB Description : Embedded Software Engineer Industry : Thermal Printer Technical Skills Required • Candidate must have project development experience on following: o Designing 8/16/32 Bit Microcontroller based systems preferably on ARM Cortex microcontrollers. o Digital & Analogue based system design o Concepts like ADC, DAC, GPIO, Timer , Intrupts, Counters, Debugging etc. o Communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS422, RS485. • Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets. • Solid programming experience in C or C++. • Proven experience in embedded systems design with multitasking real-time operating systems. • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English) • Ability to work well in a team environment • Ability to learn quickly on the job Duties and Responsibilities • Designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software. • Review and understand Technical References and Data Sheets for the systems microcontroller. • Create proof of concept and fast prototype software. • Assist hardware engineers in development of new platforms and in troubleshooting hardware / software interfaces. • Create detailed requirements, software designs, and architecture specifications. • Work with sales-marketing team and perform R&D functions to generate new product concepts, help determine architectural direction, and perform technical feasibility studies. • Implement detailed embedded designs and determine technical solutions to meet product requirement with minimum guidance. • Support software QA and optimize I/O performance.
