  • Design, implement, and maintain robust embedded firmware for Nordic

nRF54L15-based products using C/C++.

  • Work with the nRF Connect SDK, Zephyr RTOS, Nordic tools (nRF Programmer,

nRF Connect Desktop), and debugging tools (SEGGER J-Link, logic analyzers).

  • Integrate and validate communication protocols (Bluetooth LE, Thread, Matter,

Zigbee, proprietary 2.4 GHz) supported by the nRF54L15.

  • Collaborate with hardware engineers on system bring-up, peripheral interfaces (SPI,

I2C, UART, GPIO, ADC), and board support.

  • Perform low-level peripheral configuration, power optimization, and real-time

performance tuning for ultra-low-power embedded systems, ensuring reliable

operation in production environments.

  • Develop and execute unit tests, system tests, and automated test procedures to

validate firmware quality.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve embedded system issues across hardware and

firmware layers.

  • Document firmware architecture, technical specifications, interfaces, and test plans.
  • Support product releases and post-release maintenance including bug fixes and

optimizations.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering /

Computer Science or related field.

  • 3+ years professional experience in embedded firmware development (preferably

with Nordic nRF SoCs or similar ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers).

  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded system design principles.
  • Experience with RTOS environments (Zephyr preferred).
  • Familiarity with hardware interfaces and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART,

GPIO).

  • Proficient with debugging tools (JTAG/SWD, SEGGER J-Link), logic analyzers, and

development workflows.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to optimize for power, performance, and

reliability.

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills for team collaboration.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with nRF Connect SDK and Nordic radio stacks (BLE Mesh, Thread,

Matter).

  • Familiarity with security features (secure boot, firmware signing, secure storage).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration / automated testing pipelines.
  • Experience in customer-facing or cross-functional roles.
