Embedded Engineer – HiL Testing

Perform HiL testing of embedded software using IPG TruckMaker to simulate real-world vehicle dynamics and scenarios.
Integrate and validate application-layer software on STM32 microcontrollers; transition to RH850 over time. Use Vector CANalyzer (required) to monitor and analyze CAN bus communication and inject test signals. Simulate and verify system-level behavior of mechatronic subsystems (e.g., actuators, sensors) in a closed-loop environment. Develop and maintain HiL test cases, fault injection scenarios, and test data configurations using IPG TruckMaker. Work with automotive protocols such as CAN, LIN, and UDS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and resolve integration issues. Operate lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) for low-level signal troubleshooting when needed. Document test procedures, results, and system issues clearly and systematically.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
Hands-on experience with STM32 microcontrollers. Proficiency with Vector CANalyzer (required) for CAN traffic analysis and diagnostics. Basic programming experience in C/C++. Familiarity with IPG TruckMaker or similar vehicle dynamics simulation tools. Understanding of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS). Solid hardware handling skills and comfort working in lab environments. Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to RH850 microcontrollers or willingness to ramp up on RH850 development.
Experience with mechatronic components (motors, actuators, sensors). Familiarity with automated test scripting (e.g., CAPL, Python). Understanding of control systems and real-time embedded behavior. Interest in automotive technology, especially in simulation-based validation workflows.
