Embedded Engineer

As an Embedded Firmware Developer in Pune, your role involves designing, coding, and testing firmware for embedded electronic systems. You will collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure effective integration of firmware with electronic components. Additionally, you will participate in developing and executing test plans to validate firmware performance and functionality. Using debugging tools to troubleshoot issues in firmware and hardware interactions will be a key responsibility. Your tasks will also include maintaining clear and detailed documentation of firmware designs, implementation processes, and testing results. Furthermore, you will assist in creating technical reports and specifications for internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and quality assurance, is essential to facilitate successful project execution. Effective communication within the team to share progress, address challenges, and suggest improvements is crucial. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. With 1-3 years of experience in firmware development specifically for electronic systems, familiarity with microcontrollers and basic knowledge of hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART) is preferred. Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems is required. Understanding real-time operating systems (RTOS) and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) would be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and teamwork skills, a proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities.
