Description Job title : System Engineer Location : Noida Sec-11 Terms : Permanent Qualification : B.Tech / M.Tech (Electronics/Electrical/Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Mechatronics) Experience : 2-6 years Roles & Responsibilities System requirement analysis and preparation of system-level specifications. Design and development of system architecture for signaling products. Cross-functional coordination with hardware, firmware, and software teams. Definition of interfaces and communication protocols between subsystems. System integration and functional validation during prototype and product development. Preparation of key technical documents (SRS, SDS, test plans, reports). Support for safety, reliability, and RAMS activities as per relevant standards. Execution of system-level testing including functional, performance, and environmental tests. Troubleshooting and resolving system-level issues during development and deployment. Support during installation, testing, and commissioning (SITC) at customer or field locations. Ensuring compliance with railway signaling standards (RDSO / EN standards). Technical support for customer interactions, audits, and certification activities. Experience Experience in design, integration, and validation of signaling systems or embedded control products preferred. Exposure to RDSO / EN / CENELEC standards (EN 50126 / 50128 / 50129) desirable. Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals in electronics and systems design may also be considered for trainee / junior roles. Technical Skills Strong understanding of system architecture, control logic, and communication interfaces (RS232/RS485/CAN/Ethernet). Familiarity with hardware, firmware, and software integration. Knowledge of signal processing, safety-critical design, or embedded systems. Hands-on experience in requirement management tools (DOORS, Polarion, etc.) and system documentation. Understanding of railway interlocking principles or safety-critical product lifecycle will be an added advantage. (ref:hirist.tech)
