3. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test embedded digital hardware (MPSoC, MPU, FPGA, memory, Input Output interfaces such as Ethernet, 1553B SPI, IC, UART, CAN, LVDS).
• Inspect RF assemblies such as RF Receiver units, RF Transmitter units, Integrated Digital & RF Systems, LNAs, PAs, mixers, filters, and oscillators
• Antennas, feed networks, and RF connectors
• Perform RF measurements using Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator and Power Meter
• Participate in the screening, Environmental (Climatic & Dynamic) and EMI-EMC testing of various sub-systems and inspect the test results as per the approved Acceptance Test Procedure document.
• Analyze the test results and prepare the report for approvals.
• Coordination with the QA agencies and the design team for trouble shooting and failure analysis and reporting.
• Perform incoming inspection of electronic and RF components.
• Monitor PCB assembly processes (SMT/THT, reflow, RF shielding, conformal coating).
• Conduct final inspection of fully assembled units with mechanical and RF enclosures.
• Identify non-conformances, raise NCRs, and document failures.
• Participate in root cause analysis using 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D techniques.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain Inspection and test records, RF test reports and calibration records,
• First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) as per AS9102
• Ensure part traceability, serial tracking, and configuration control.

4. Required Qualifications & skills

• Bachelors/Diploma in Electronics, RF Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field with 3+ years of experience in digital and/or RF hardware testing and quality control.
• Good knowledge of Digital electronics and embedded systems architecture.
• Good knowledge of RF fundamentals (S-parameters, Smith chart, impedance matching), PCB fabrication and RF layout best practices.
• Familiarity with: IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-2221), AS9100 quality management systems, Calibration systems and metrology practices.
• Experience in working for DRDO / BEL for air worthy qualification of hardware
• Experience of working with CEMILAC/RCMA and MSQAA/DGAQA for certification and quality control of mission critical embedded systems.
