• Strong knowledge of embedded Linux/RTOS internals, bootloaders, and kernel-level security.
• Hands-on experience with tools like IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, Wireshark, and firmware extraction utilities (JTAG, UART). • Understanding of cryptographic algorithms, PKI, and key provisioning workflows. • Familiarity with secure communication protocols (TLS, DTLS, MQTT, CAN-FD security). • Experience performing fuzz testing, binary analysis, and reverse engineering for firmware validation. • Proficiency in threat modeling frameworks like STRIDE, attack tree or STPA-Sec. • Knowledge of automotive diagnostics (UDS, OBD-II) and medical device communication protocols. • Exposure to SBOM management and vulnerability tracking systems (Open source and enterprise tools). • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Education • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or related field.
Compliance: FDA, UNECE R155/156, ISO 27001/21434, HIPPA, GDPR & ISO 80001etc.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CEH, Automotive SPICE, ISO 21434 Practitioner, or equivalent.
Preferred Industry Experience • Embedded security roles in automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, OTT device manufacturers, or regulated medical device sectors.
