ELV Technician

ELV Technician

We are looking for a skilled ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage electronic systems at client sites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ELV systems and strong technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Intercom, PA/BGM, Networking, etc.)
• Perform cabling, termination, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform corrective maintenance
• Conduct site surveys and prepare material requirements
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of daily tasks and site progress
• Coordinate with project engineers and contractors for site execution
• Follow safety procedures and company standards on-site
• Provide customer support and technical guidance when required

Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in ELV system installation & maintenance
• Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, fire alarm, networking, etc.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Basic knowledge of networking & IP configuration (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willing to travel and work on-site as required

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Experience in structured cabling and fiber splicing
• Fire alarm systems certification (advantage)
• Knowledge of power tools and safety equipment
