Job Description

We are looking for a skilled ELK Stack Engineer with 9 to 15 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Elasticsearch internals, shard allocation, and segments, as well as building highly resilient, high-performance, scalable, and flexible systems.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and develop scalable and secure ELK stack solutions.
Perform technical capability studies and implement cloud, on-premises, and hybrid architecture solutions.
Maintain, support, and troubleshoot the ELK stack and related technologies.
Implement security measures such as LDAP, Active Directory, OKTA, Kerberos, and machine learning using Elasticsearch.
Integrate various enterprise components like bigroot, traditional root warehousing, PagerDuty, Slack, ServiceNow, etc., with the ELK stack.
Provide expert advice and counsel to the project team to ensure optimal solution design and development.
Handle client communication and provide technical expertise.
Review and input into teams' work products and deliverables, ensuring overall monitoring and alerting architecture, performance tuning, and security implementation.
Assist the project manager with planning and delivery reports and assist with developing requirements and design specifications.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and deployment using Jenkins/Gitlab or other CI/CD tools.
Experience in architecting various cloud and bigroot components.
Understanding of Query DSL and Elasticsearch API.
Knowledge of platform performance tuning and monitoring of ELK clusters.
Familiarity with AWS is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to provide expert advice and counsel.
