Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Elevator Technician with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in the elevator industry. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in electrical and mechanical systems, along with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevator systems, ensuring safety standards are met and downtime is minimized.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation of Elevator Systems:

- Assist in installing and assembling elevators and other vertical transportation systems according to technical blueprints and specifications.

- Perform wiring, cabling, and connection of electrical components for control systems.

2. Maintenance and Repairs:

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on elevators to ensure optimal performance and safety.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

- Test elevator systems to verify proper functioning after repairs or adjustments.

3. Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure that all work complies with local, state, and national safety codes and standards.

- Adhere to workplace safety protocols and wear protective equipment when required.

- Identify potential safety risks and report them to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the elevator industry, including installation, maintenance, or repair of elevator systems.

Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

Technical Skills: - Knowledge of electrical wiring, control systems, and mechanical components.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
