Electronics Engineering Intern

As an Electronics Engineer Intern at AtumX, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to elevate the capabilities of robots to new heights. Your responsibilities will center around the design, development, and testing of electronic circuits and systems tailored for robotic applications. Collaboration with mechanical and software engineers will be a key aspect of your work to seamlessly integrate electronics with robotic systems while ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test electronic circuits and systems specifically for robotic applications. - Create schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs utilizing industry-standard CAD tools like EAGLE, KiCAD, and Altium. - Engage in close collaboration with mechanical and software engineers to fuse electronics with robotic systems. - Program and develop microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32, ESP32, and embedded systems for various robotics applications. - Conduct troubleshooting and debugging activities to ensure the smooth operation of electronic circuits and systems. - Uphold compliance with pertinent industry standards and regulations. - Participate in design reviews, offering technical guidance and suggestions. - Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation encompassing design specifications, test plans, and reports. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. - Proficiency in ROS (Robot Operating System). - Familiarity with machine learning and AI in the context of robotics. - Experience in power electronics and motor control. - Practical exposure to robotic systems and platforms. - Enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the realm of robotics.
