Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment in STP, WTP, ETP & RO plants.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, compressors, dosing systems, and electrical panels.
Carry out electrical works including wiring, cabling, earthing, and basic control panel troubleshooting.
Conduct alignment, lubrication, and replacement of mechanical parts as per schedule.
Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and ensure smooth plant operations.
Maintain logbooks, service records, and report equipment status to the Site Incharge.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with site standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical discipline.
Experience: 3 - 5 years in maintenance of water & wastewater treatment plants (STP/WTP/ETP/RO).
Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, blowers, compressors, and dosing systems.
Basic understanding of electrical panels, starters, MCC, and VFDs.
Ability to handle both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting independently.
Good knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
Team player with strong problem-solving and reporting skills.
