Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team at Vijaya Diagnostic Centre in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience and be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical systems.

Roles and Responsibility

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, backup power systems, panels, and wiring.
Handle basic MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) maintenance tasks as required.
Conduct painting and surface finishing work to maintain aesthetic and hygiene standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including air conditioners, ventilation ducts, and exhaust systems.
Ensure proper functioning of telephone and network cabling, conduct basic troubleshooting of LAN points, wall sockets, and switches.
Regularly inspect and maintain the firefighting system, including alarms, extinguishers, hose reels, and emergency lights.
Support installation and repair of medical equipment infrastructure, as applicable.
Carry out routine inspections and general upkeep of buildings.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.
Any Graduate degree is required.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with medical equipment and its maintenance is an added advantage.
