Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our team at Vijaya Diagnostic Centre. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair, with a strong background in healthcare.

Roles and Responsibility

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, backup power systems, panels, and wiring.
Handle basic MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) maintenance tasks as required.
Conduct carpentry and civil repair works, including doors, locks, flooring, partitions, and minor masonry.
Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including air conditioners, ventilation ducts, and exhaust systems.
Ensure proper functioning of telephone and network cabling, conduct basic troubleshooting of LAN points, wall sockets, and switches.
Regularly inspect and maintain the firefighting system, including alarms, extinguishers, hose reels, and emergency lights.
Support installation and repair of medical equipment infrastructure, as applicable.
Carry out routine inspections and general upkeep of building infrastructure.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and backup power systems.
Ability to handle basic MEP maintenance tasks and perform carpentry and civil repair works.
Experience with HVAC systems, including air conditioners, ventilation ducts, and exhaust systems.
Familiarity with telephone and network cabling, and basic troubleshooting of LAN points, wall sockets, and switches.
Knowledge of firefighting systems, including alarms, extinguishers, hose reels, and emergency lights.
A graduate degree is required for this position.
