You will be responsible for various electrical repair works within the plant, including utility maintenance, attending breakdown maintenance in shifts, and carrying out preventive electrical maintenance tasks. Your duties will also involve handling wiring and cabling works, monitoring utilities for electrical faults, and performing electrical panel works and replacements. It will be your responsibility to report power failures, activate power backup systems, and record the electrical consumption of utilities in the plant. Additionally, you will assist in other maintenance activities, fill checklists for preventive maintenance, and suggest measures for cost reduction and preventing breakdowns. Supervising all plant jobs, providing support to fitters, maintaining inventory information in stores, and carrying out any other project-related work will also be part of your role.
