Electrical Wiring Harness Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing the Electrical Wiring Capability Center in Pune and collaborating with the Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) teams at the Head office to design aircraft electrical wiring harnesses. This includes exchanging information on electrical interfaces, creating 2D schematics, and participating in harness topologies design. Your role will also involve managing and validating schematics of sub-contractors. Additionally, you will evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods, testing finished products and system capabilities, and ensuring necessary equipment is operational. You will contribute to the development of the Capability Center on harness design in Pune and provide feedback and reporting to the Design Office at the Head Office. Key Responsibilities: - Develop the Electrical Wiring Capability Center in Pune - Collaborate with EWIS teams at the Head office for aircraft electrical wiring harness design - Exchange information on electrical interfaces between aircraft systems - Create 2D schematics and participate in harness topologies design - Manage and validate schematics of sub-contractors - Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods - Test finished products and system capabilities - Ensure necessary equipment is operational - Contribute to the development of the Capability Center on harness design in Pune - Provide feedback and reporting to the Design Office at the Head Office Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field - More than 10 years of experience in an Electrical Design Office - Strong knowledge of harness design, 2D modeling (using computer-aided design tools like ELECTRE), mechanical and 3D modeling - Experience in an industrial environment and the Aerospace Industry preferred - Excellent communication skills - Knowledge of the French language will be considered an added advantage,
