Job Description

Job Title: Electrical - Technician

Role: Electrical - Technician

Grade: Electrical - Technician

Department / SBU: Maintenance – Machine Shop

Location: Hosur Engine Plant

Salary: Upto 5.50 LPA (45K)

Organization Relationships

Reports to: RU – Maintenance Engine Shop

Supervises: Maintenance – Engine Shop

Co-ordinates with (Internal):

RMI / RG - Machining / Assembly / Gearbox Assembly

Purpose of the Job

To ensure smooth functioning of electrical systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and support production continuity in the Engine Plant.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.

Support machine shop maintenance activities.

Ensure minimal downtime through quick fault rectification.

Adhere to safety procedures and company standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Ability to handle electrical maintenance tools and equipment.

Good problem-solving skills.

Team coordination and communication skills.

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience in plant maintenance.

Competencies:

4 to 6 Years in Automobile Industry preferably from Engine shop or Power train assembly.
