Electrical Technician

Location: Popular Mega Motors, Kannur – TATA Commercial Division
Salary Range: ₹9,000 – ₹15,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automobile Electrician to join our team at Popular Mega Motors, Kannur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in TATA commercial vehicles. This includes troubleshooting issues and ensuring that all electrical components are in perfect working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in TATA commercial vehicles (trucks, pickups, etc.)
• Install and maintain vehicle wiring systems and electronic components.
• Test and replace faulty alternators, starter motors, batteries, lighting systems, etc.
• Install accessories such as fog lights, audio systems, reverse cameras, and GPS devices.
• Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards.
• Use diagnostic tools to detect and resolve electrical problems.
• Work closely with service advisors and other technicians to ensure timely delivery of serviced vehicles.
• Maintain proper documentation of repair work done.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: ITI/Diploma in Automobile or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 0-2 years of experience as an automobile electrician (preferably in commercial vehicles).
• Technical Skills:
• Good knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.
• Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Other Skills:
• Problem-solving ability.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Working Conditions:

• Workshop-based role.
• May require occasional overtime during peak periods.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and wear protective gear.
