Electrical Technician

Core Responsibilities: Installation: Installing and maintaining wiring, control systems, and lighting. This involves following blueprints and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.  Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults using specialized tools and knowledge of electrical systems.  Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance on electrical systems, including checking wiring, circuit breakers, and other components to prevent issues.  Compliance and Safety: Adhering to electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.  Reading and Interpreting Diagrams: Understanding and using electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide their work.  Testing and Inspection: Using testing devices to identify and diagnose problems, and inspecting electrical components and systems.  Specific Tasks: Assembling and installing electrical components and equipment. Testing circuits and systems using specialized tools. Repairing or replacing faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Maintaining records of work performed. Following safety protocols and procedures. Potentially supervising other technicians or workers.
