Role & responsibilities

Safety

- Foster culture of Safety at Site.

- Lead and drive Safety Excellance intivatives for GUJ Site including projects and construction safety.

- Ensure that all manditory safety trainings has been imparted and required legal, local and statutory compleinces meet timely manner.

- Clarity, focused, ethical and materialize business goals as per companys policy /guideline

Expectations

- Responsible for taking ownership for safety and quality related compliance execution in respective work areas as per defined company standards.

- Responsible for maintaining shift wise logbooks as per defined standard /operating procedure/ work instructions.

- Responsible for maintaining excellent 5S /housekeeping standards in respective work area.

- Responsible for reporting any deviation / abnormalities to shift supervisor.

- Responsible for taking ownership for effective resource utilization, losses elimination, reporting, and preventing any unsafe behavior in respective work area.

- Responsible for waste / rejection / safe storage as per defined procedures.

Minimum skills required:

1) Should have work on 11/33/66KV HT System.

2) Should be well versed with the SLD of Plant.

3) Operation and maintenance of DG Set System.

4) Must have in depth knowledge of Circuit breakers LT as well as HT, Protection System.

5) Must have in depth knowledge of Feeder and Motor Protection relays.

6) Power Changeover system from GEB to DG and vice versa.

7) Knowledge Of LOCK-OUT & TAG-OUT system.

8) Operation and maintenance of Star-Delta, DOL & Forword-Reverse Starters

9) Operation and maintenance of Online UPS.

10) Operation and maintenance PCC/MCC/IMCC control Panels.

11) Operation and maintenance LT/HT Motors, Hoists.

12) Operation and maintenance, replacement & programming of VFDs.

13) Troubleshooting of Power & Control wiring.

14) Routine preventive maintenance of electrical Equipment's.

C] Extended Skills:

1) Working with Computers, Report preparation, use of CMMS Softwares.

2) Condition monitoring, predictive maintenance of electrical Equipment's.

3) Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen

4) Working in Projects & modifications work

D] Additional benefits:

1) Knowledge of operation of instrumentations, PLC, DCS, Automation

Accountability

- Follow the safety and quality instructions while executing day-to-day shift electrical maintenance activities.

- Participate and contribute in operational excellence related initiatives at shop floor.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: ITI Electrical

- Professional experience: 5-8 years of experience handling electrical operation and maintenance independently. Preferably in Chemical / Petrochemical / Polymer / Engineering Industries.

- Know-how:

- Operational knowledge of handing electrical operation and maintenance in manufacturing plant

- Basic understanding of ISO 9001/ 14001/ OHSAS management system

- Good verbal and written Communication skills

Must Required:

1) Wireman Certificate/Supervisor License Either of 1 is OK
