Quality Controller

Role & responsibilities

Safety

• Follow the safety and quality instructions while executing day-to-day shift Laboratory testing activities.
• Responsible for taking ownership for safety and quality related compliance execution in respective work areas as per defined company standards.

Quality

- Testing and inspection of raw material, finished product, packaging material and process samples.

- Result recording of the tested samples into ERP system.

- Reagents and chemical solution preparations.

- COA through ERP system and review before submit to supply chain.

- In house lab equipment under guidance of lab in-charge.

- Responsible for reporting any deviation / abnormalities to Executive Quality and production supervisor in timely manner.

- Sample retentions of raw material and finished product as per requirements.

- Maintenance of 5S of laboratory area.

- Responsible for taking ownership for effective resource utilization, losses elimination, reporting, and preventing any unsafe behavior in respective work area.

- Responsible for waste / rejection / safe storage as per defined procedures.

Vision

E.g Timely testing of samples from production, timely release of finished Goods through ERP system,

COA generation and review to release for customer.

Expectations

- Operational knowledge of handing all laboratory equipment.

- Thorough understanding of laboratory test method and specifications

- Basic understanding of ISO 9001/ 14001/ OHSAS management system

- 5S of laboratory

- Good Interpersonal Skills / Communication skills

Accountability

- Accountable for the released testing results.

- Accountable for the results entered into the ERP systems.

- Safety and 5S at lab area

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) / Diploma in Plastics /ITI with 2 years of experience

Professional experience: 2-6 Years

Languages: Local language + Hindi + English

Know-how: chemical / plastic / Textile / Paper Industries
