Electrical Technical Associate

As an Electrical Technician/Associate, you will utilize your technical expertise in the power sector, specifically in substations or power stations, to support sales and technical assessments of transformer-based instrumentation and control equipment. Your role will involve conducting field visits, coordinating with utility engineers, performing technical evaluations, and assisting in the sales process of products such as WTI/OTI, electrical meters & instrumentation, control devices for transformers/substations, relays, and other instrumentations. Key Responsibilities: - Visit substations, power plants, and utility sites to conduct technical assessments. - Support the sales team by providing product demonstrations and on-site technical insights. - Identify and understand customer requirements, offering suitable product solutions. - Assist in the installation, basic testing, or coordination during commissioning as required. - Prepare basic site reports and provide feedback for internal teams. - Establish and nurture relationships with site engineers and utility representatives. Required Qualifications & Skills: - ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field. - 3-4 years of hands-on field experience in utilities, substations, transformer yards, or power infrastructure. - Knowledge of transformer auxiliaries such as WTI, OTI, MOG, PRDs, meters, relays, etc. - Prior experience in testing, installation, or commissioning is highly desirable. - Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams and effective communication with field engineers. - Basic reporting and coordination skills. - Willingness to travel within the assigned region on a part-time/project basis.
