Electrical Project Engineer

As an Electrical Project Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in the planning, designing, and execution of industrial electrical projects. Your responsibilities will include: - **Project Planning & Execution:** - Lead the planning and execution of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, on time, and within budget. - Prepare detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and milestones. - Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD tools. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. - **Site Management & Supervision:** - Supervise on-site installation activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. - Monitor day-to-day site activities, manage work schedules, and troubleshoot technical issues. - Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders for smooth project progress. - **Client & Vendor Coordination:** - Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing technical support and status updates. - Liaise with suppliers and vendors to procure electrical components, ensuring timely delivery and quality control. - Prepare and review technical specifications for equipment and materials. - **Testing & Commissioning:** - Plan and conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure proper functioning. - Prepare detailed commissioning reports and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to electrical codes and guidelines. - **Documentation & Compliance:** - Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, design drawings, and test results. - Ensure all electrical works comply with local regulations and industry standards. - Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety protocols on-site. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 3-6 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in industrial or turnkey contracting. - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, switchgear, and industrial power distribution. - Proficiency in project management tools and CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit). - Excellent understanding of Indian and international electrical codes and standards. - Strong communication and leadership skills. - Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
