Electrical Estimation Engineer

As an Electrical Estimation Engineer at our company, you will play a vital role in the success of our industrial projects by utilizing your expertise in electrical engineering and estimation. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand electrical requirements for industrial projects. - Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive electrical estimates for bidding purposes. - Utilizing estimation software and tools to accurately calculate material, labor, and other costs associated with electrical installations. - Preparing detailed cost breakdowns, including material quantities, labor hours, subcontractor costs, equipment rentals, and other project expenses. - Identifying potential risks and opportunities during the estimation process and providing recommendations to optimize project costs and timelines. - Reviewing and evaluating subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements. - Supporting business development efforts by participating in client meetings, presenting cost estimates, and addressing technical inquiries. - Collaborating with procurement and supply chain teams to obtain competitive pricing for electrical materials and equipment. - Maintaining accurate records of estimates, contracts, change orders, and other project-related documentation. - Assisting project managers in developing project schedules, resource plans, and budget forecasts based on the approved estimates. - Providing technical assistance and guidance to project teams during the execution phase to ensure adherence to electrical design specifications and quality standards. - Participating in project post-mortem reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for continuous improvement in the estimation process. Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
