Electrical Maintenance Engineer

As an experienced Electrical Material Evaluator / Field Electrical Engineer at a leading Oil & Gas Operator based in Benghazi, Libya, your role will involve conducting on-site evaluations and inspections of electrical equipment and installations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with applicable safety codes and industry standards. Initially, you will work under the guidance of a Senior Inspector during training, where you will prepare and submit detailed inspection reports, communicate effectively with clients, and provide solutions to technical issues. Additionally, you will be expected to manage multiple projects efficiently and independently. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct on-site evaluations and inspections of electrical equipment and installations. - Ensure compliance with applicable safety codes and industry standards. - Work under the guidance of a Senior Inspector during training. - Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports. - Communicate effectively with clients and provide solutions to technical issues. - Manage multiple projects efficiently and independently. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, OR - Licensed Electrician with proven inspection experience, OR - Electrical Technologist with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on field experience. In addition to the above qualifications, preferred experience includes working with Hazardous Locations equipment and familiarity with Electro-medical devices. Skills Required: - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Good computer proficiency (MS Office, reporting tools). - Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle client interactions professionally. - Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
