Job Description

Purpose of the Role:-Electrical Maintenance Engineer

To prepare the Plant to achieve the Capacity plan by:

Ensuring flawless maintenance of machines with respect to Safety and Uptime.
Executing the preventive & predictive maintenance schedules for improving the overall reliability and safety of shop, personnel, machine uptime and production processes.
Identifying of Spares and Monitoring Spare parts requirement
Expertise in managing maintenance operations for reducing breakdown/downtime & enhancing operational effectiveness of equipment
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on Electrical/electronics equipment, servo motor and drive issues, encoders, control panel, Sensors, I/O Cards.
Collaborate with production teams and other maintenance staff to coordinate maintenance activities

Job Responsibilities:-

Operations requirement

Attaining Zero Break Down for the equipment's thereby increasing the plant equipment efficiency and increase in productivity
Experience with CNC machines, gearboxes, conveyor systems, and presses.
Experienced in Maintenance of Cutting Tools, Fixtures, Tightening tools, VMC & HMC machines of NTC, MAG, Heller and Nagel Honing.
Repair or replace worn or defective mechanical parts with precision and safety.
Implementing kaizens, poka-yoke and Innovation for continuous improvement process in the plant
Troubleshooting of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems.
Inhouse servicing of Mechanical Spares and knowledgeable in powertrain systems
Maintain 5S of Shop floor and Maintenancearea
Maintaining and repairing various systems,including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as related components like motors, pumps, valves, and cylinders.
Shall have good knowledge in reading Ladder logics, Monitoring PLC I/Os especially in Siemens PLC
Shall have good Knowledge in PLC trouble shooting & basic programming.
Good Knowledge in Mechanical maintenance of Engine shop machineries
