Electrical Group - Market Quality Manager

As a qualified candidate for this position, you will be responsible for handling market feedback and warranty issues related to electrical switches and lockset systems. Your duties will include conducting extensive vendor visits for process verification, identifying usage patterns through on-site visits, and troubleshooting issues at dealer/customer locations. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate with multiple product owners and process partners to ensure timely analysis and execution of quality improvements based on market feedback. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you utilize FTA approach for resolving complex market issues and benchmark competitor processes/designs. Diagnosing and resolving customer complaints will also be a key part of your role. To excel in this position, you must possess a good understanding of electrical and electronic parts, with expertise in interpreting circuit drawings and data sheets. Your knowledge of semiconductor technology and PCB manufacturing processes will be crucial, along with experience in root-cause analysis related to SMT and soldering processes. Proficiency in QC tools, DOE, and Six Sigma methodologies is essential, along with strong analytical skills and a logical approach to problem-solving. Your ability to effectively communicate and present complex market problems to stakeholders and management is vital, as is your aptitude for analyzing data and proposing solutions and future strategies within strict timelines. In terms of specific expertise for this functional area, experience in PCB manufacturing and semiconductor technology, particularly related to components such as MOSFET, MCU, diode, and capacitor, will be highly valued. Your hands-on experience in resolving market problems and your ability to succinctly explain and present solutions to stakeholders and management will be key to your success in this role.
