Electrical Executive Engineer-MNC Pharma (Cuddalore)

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power systems, control systems, instrumentation, and automation systems in the pharmaceutical industry

• Responsible to ensure all the operations in department are conducted to IPEC, cGMP and ISO9001/14001/45001 standards.
• Practice GMP, GDP and GEP compliance in the workplace at all times and Demonstrate quality, Integrity and Honesty in work.
• Responsible for erection, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of LT switchgear, transformers, Diesel generators, UPS, and motors.
• Liaison with TNEB and complying with the prescribed norms and assisting in Rule 30 inspection.
• Transformer testing, commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of 25o0 KVA and above.
• Responsible for Operation and Maintenance of Diesel Generator and UPS
• Ensure all operations are supported with necessary PM schedule / WI / SOP and following the same and update the PM documents.
• Responsible for equipment breakdown and to resolve immediately without affecting Productivity
• Ensure preventive maintenance of motors, power panels, control panels, VFD, transformer, Diesel generators, UPS, and other electrical equipment as per the preventive maintenance planner.
• Knowledge in diagnosing and troubleshoot problems in switchgear, motors, control circuit, power circuit, and VFD.
• Completing all tasks set by the manager and assisting wherever possible.

Knowledge in operation and maintenance of basic instruments Flow Meters, Temperature sensors, Pressure transmitters, Level transmitters & switches, Weight measuring devices, vibrations sensors, Control Valves etc

• Knowledge & Operation of various type of Master calibrators like, dead weight tester, resistance decade box, universal calibrators, RTD and T/C calibrators, Pressure calibrators, Temperature bath.
• Knowledge in

  Operation and Maintenance of HVAC, Air Cooled Chillers, AHU, and Dehumidifiers

• Spare and inventory management for all the electrical equipment in the plant
• Preparation & Monitoring of Process improvement project with cost-saving analysis.
• Ability to handle and resolve instrumentation problems in the absence of instrumentation person.
• Implementing and following all safety regulations in all electrical activities as per CEIG norms.
• Knowledge in testing of protection relays, CT, PT and Energy meters
• Operation and maintenance of earth pits, monitoring the earth pit resistance and ensure it is within the limit.
• Operation and maintenance of solar panels and inverter. Monitoring and preparing the reports for solar power generation units.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.E/ B.Tech - Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Experience 5 to 7 years in Pharma/ Chemical Industry
