Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer for Washing, Sorting & Granules Line, your role involves operating and maintaining machines used for plastic washing, color & polymer sorting, and granule processing. You should have sound knowledge of electrical systems, automation controls, and troubleshooting in plastic recycling or polymer processing environments. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor electrical panels and PLCs in plastic washing and sorting lines - Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in washing, drying, color sorting, and granule lines - Ensure smooth operation of color sorting machines (optical sorters), hot/cold washing systems, and pelletizers - Schedule preventive maintenance of motors, drives, control panels, and sensors - Work closely with the production team to reduce downtime and improve efficiency - Maintain proper logs of breakdowns, repairs, and daily checks - Ensure all safety protocols are followed during electrical work - Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and external repairs when required Qualifications Required: - Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering - 3-5 years of relevant experience in plastic recycling, washing, or polymer granulation industry - Knowledge of HDPE, PP, LDPE plastic behavior in processing - Strong skills in motor control systems, VFDs, PLCs, relays, contactors, etc. - Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings - Problem-solving attitude and hands-on approach In this role, you will be working with color sorting machines (NIR/optical sorters), hot wash/cold wash plants, plastic extrusion, pelletizing lines, and utility equipment such as chillers, compressors, and blowers. Please note the work schedule will be in person, with day shifts. The salary range is between 25000-35000 with additional benefits such as cell phone reimbursement and yearly bonus.
