Job Summary: Our client in the offshore and marine sector is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to support rig and marine system operations. The role requires strong knowledge in electrical systems related to land rigs, offshore equipment testing, and commissioning of electrical control systems under high-demand operational environments. Key Responsibilities: * Perform electrical inspections and testing for land rigs and offshore assets. * Supervise and conduct electrical integration for equipment during trial runs. * Support high-voltage and low-voltage testing, power distribution analysis, and system integrity checks. * Troubleshoot and repair electrical control panels, motor systems, and safety circuits. * Collaborate with mechanical teams during manifold and pressure testing where electrical control is integrated. * Maintain detailed reports and documentation of electrical inspections and commissioning. * Ensure compliance with IEC, ATEX, and marine electrical standards for hazardous and offshore zones. * Work closely with QA/QC and safety officers to uphold the highest operational standards. Candidate Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. * 2–5 years of relevant experience in offshore/marine or oil & gas environments. * Strong understanding of electrical safety, control systems, and rig automation. * Familiar with rig power systems, PLCs, MCCs, VFDs, and instrumentation. * Proficiency in interpreting single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and load calculations. Job Type: Permanent Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
